Neal & Massy Wood Group to Provide Maintenance Services for Trinidadian Methanol Plant

Neal & Massy Wood Group Ltd. ("NMWG"), a Trinidadian company jointly owned by a John Wood Group PLC ("Wood Group") subsidiary and Neal & Massy Energy Ltd., has been awarded a five-year, performance-based contract by Methanex Trinidad Ltd. ("Methanex") to provide maintenance services for its Titan and Atlas methanol production facilities in Trinidad.
"NMWG is very pleased to have been selected to provide maintenance services for Methanex's Trinidad methanol plants," said Alberto Rozo, managing director of NMWG. "This contract builds upon our experience maintaining energy industry facilities and we look forward to applying best practices from those experiences to Methanex's facilities."
Methanex is the world's largest supplier of methanol to major international markets. Its Trinidad subsidiary is a significant contributor to Trinidad and Tobago's position as the global leader in methanol export – this country generates 15 percent of world production.
Neal & Massy Wood Group Ltd., a joint venture between Wood Group Trinidad & Tobago Ltd. and Neal & Massy Energy Ltd., of Trinidad, provides services to both the upstream and downstream sectors of the energy industry in Trinidad and Tobago. Neal & Massy Wood Group offers project management, engineering, procurement, construction management and commissioning of greenfield and brownfield engineering projects; management and execution of operations, maintenance, and modifications of oil, gas and power facilities; consulting and technical support for operations and maintenance services; and overhaul and repair of industrial gas turbines.
